MOVING WITH DOGS
Change the address.
Keep the familiar.
A thoughtful move. A familiar routine.
Plan your move with NathanONE CALMER TRANSITION
Pack the essentials.
Keep the rhythm.
Before, during, and after the move
Before the move
Update tags and microchip details, gather veterinary records, refill medication and identify care near the new home.
Pack food, water, leash, waste bags, medication and familiar bedding separately from the moving truck.
Moving day
Arrange secure off-site care before movers, open doors and repeated loading begin. Keep transportation and the dog’s essentials with you.
Arrival + first 72 hours
Inspect gates, fence gaps, pools, chemicals, plants and escape routes before exploring. Begin with one quiet zone, normal food and familiar bedding.
Add rooms, outdoor space and walking routes gradually while watching how the dog settles.
The first two weeks
Rebuild the workday rhythm, alone time, visitors, daycare and neighborhood walks in small steps. Keep meals, sleep and bathroom timing predictable.

AT THEIR PACE
Every dog.
A different rhythm.
Puppy
Protect potty, exercise and nap timing. Use supervised off-site care, limit access on arrival and puppy-proof the new home again.
